Higgsfield Subscription Billing Issue: Fixes
Failed payments, plans that will not upgrade, and invoices that do not match what you expected.
Updated 13/08/2026
Payment declined
Most declines are issuer-side, not Higgsfield-side. Check that the card supports recurring international payments, that 3-D Secure prompts are not being blocked by a pop-up blocker, and that the billing address matches your bank record exactly. Re-adding the same card often clears a stale authorisation hold.
Plan did not upgrade after payment
- Confirm the charge actually settled rather than showing as "pending".
- Sign out and back in so the client picks up new entitlements.
- Check you paid on the same account you are signed into - duplicate accounts created via email and Google sign-in are the single most common cause.
If you cannot tell which account is which, see the login fix.
Invoice amount looks wrong
Mid-cycle upgrades are usually prorated, so the first invoice after a plan change rarely equals the headline price. Currency conversion and local tax are added by your issuer, not by the platform. Compare the invoice PDF line items before disputing.
Charged but no service, or charged twice
Follow the unexpected charge fix and keep the invoice ID handy. Do not file a bank chargeback first - it typically locks the account and slows the refund.
